A/C Compressor Driver Power Circuit Troubleshooting
IMA components are located in this area. The IMA is a high-voltage system. You must be familiar with the IMA system before working on or around it. Make sure you have read the IMA service precautions High Voltage Safety before doing repairs or service.
1. Fuse check:
Fuse check
-1. Check the following fuse.
Is the fuse OK?
-YES- Go to step 2.
-NO- Replace the fuse. If the fuse blows again, repair a short to ground in the No. B23 (7.5 A) fuse circuit.
2. Open wire check (IG1_HAC line):
Open wire check (IG1_HAC line)
-1. Disconnect the following connector.
-2. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
-3. Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.
Is there battery voltage?
-YES- The IG1_HAC wire is OK. Replace the A/C compressor driver Service and Repair.
-NO- Repair an open in the wire between the No. B23 (7.5 A) fuse in the under-dash fuse/relay box and the A/C compressor driver.
