DTC Troubleshooting: P065A

DTC P065A:

ACG No Charging Malfunction

NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot, and review the general troubleshooting information Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview.

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

2. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC P0562 indicated at the same time?

YES -

Go to DTC P0562 troubleshooting DTC Troubleshooting.

NO -

Go to step 3.

3. Inspect the drive belt Testing and Inspection.

Is the drive belt OK?

YES -

Do the alternator overhaul Overhaul.

NO -

Replace the drive belt Service and Repair.
