Navigation System DTC Troubleshooting: 1101

DTC 1101:

Media Bus Send Error

NOTE:

- Check the vehicle battery condition first Battery Test.
- This navigation DTC sets when there is an internal error in BUS sending.
- Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the general troubleshooting information Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
- Check any official Honda service website for more service information about the navigation system.

1. Clear the hard error code.

2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), and then back to ON (II), and wait at least 1 minute.

3. Check for the hard error code.

Is DTC 1101 indicated?

YES -

Replace the audio-navigation unit Audio-Navigation Unit Removal/Installation (With Navigation).

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
