EPS DTC Troubleshooting: 39-01, 39-02

DTC 39-01:

EPS Control Unit Internal Circuit (Precharge Circuit)

DTC 39-02:

EPS Control Unit Internal Circuit (Outside WDT)

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

3. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).

4. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC 39-01 or DTC 39-02 indicated?

YES -

Replace the EPS control unit Service and Repair.

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
