1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
3. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
4. Start the engine.
5. Turn the steering wheel to full left or full right, and hold the steering wheel for 10 seconds or more.
6. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC 32-01, 32-02, 32-03, 32-04, 32-05, 32-06, 34-01, 35-01, 35-02, 35-03, 35-04, 36-01, 36-02,37-01, or 37-02 indicated?
YES -
Replace the EPS control unit Service and Repair.
NO -
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
