Seat Adjuster Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front seat from the vehicle. Refer toSeat Replacement - Front Bucket (Front Seat Replacement - Bucket) .
2. Remove the seat trim panel. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - Front Seat (Front Seat Trim Panel Replacement) .
3. Remove the seat cushion frame from the seat adjuster. Refer toSeat Cushion Frame Replacement - Front (Seat Cushion Frame Replacement - Front) .




4. Remove the inboard seat belt buckle and nut (1).
Disconnect the electrical connection (2).
5. Remove the seat back frame from the seat adjuster. Refer toSeat Back Frame Replacement - Front (Seat Back Frame Replacement - Front) .
6. Remove the seat back hinge/recliner mechanism. Refer toSeat Back Hinge/Recliner Mechanism Replace - Front (Seat Back Hinge/Recliner Mechanism Replace - Front) .
7. Remove the seat adjuster track cover. Refer toSeat Adjuster Track Cover Replacement - Front (Service and Repair) .
8. Remove the memory module, if equipped. Refer toMemory Seat Control Module Replacement (Service and Repair) .



Installation Procedure

1. Install the memory module, if equipped. Refer toMemory Seat Control Module Replacement (Service and Repair) .





Notice: Refer toFastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the inboard seat belt buckle and nut (1).

Tighten the nut to 53 Nm (39 lb ft).

3. Connect the electrical connection (2).
4. Install the seat adjuster track cover. Refer toSeat Adjuster Track Cover Replacement - Front (Service and Repair) .
5. Install the seat back hinge/recliner mechanism. Refer toSeat Back Hinge/Recliner Mechanism Replace - Front (Seat Back Hinge/Recliner Mechanism Replace - Front) .
6. Install the seat back frame to the seat adjuster. Refer toSeat Back Frame Replacement - Front (Seat Back Frame Replacement - Front) .
7. Install the seat cushion frame to the seat adjuster. Refer toSeat Cushion Frame Replacement - Front (Seat Cushion Frame Replacement - Front) .
8. Install the seat trim panel. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - Front Seat (Front Seat Trim Panel Replacement) .
9. Install the seat in the vehicle. Refer toSeat Replacement - Front Bucket (Front Seat Replacement - Bucket) .
10. If the vehicle is equipped with memory seats, calibrate the seat. Refer toMemory Seat Calibration Procedure (Service and Repair) .
