Power Brake Booster Inlet Hose Replacement

Tools Required

CH-47830 Holding Fixture

Removal Procedure




1. Using the appropriate tool, remove the brake fluid from the reservoir.
2. Remove the brake master cylinder assembly.
3. Using the CH-47830. hold the brake master cylinder with power brake booster and chassis control module in a vise.




Caution: Refer to Brake Fluid Irritant Caution.

4. Reposition the clamp (1) on the brake booster inlet hose (2) to allow removal of the hose.
5. Remove the brake booster inlet hose (2).

Installation Procedure





Important: Position the clamps to allow installation of the inlet hose.

1. Install the brake booster inlet hose (2).
2. Install the clamps (1).
3. Remove the brake master cylinder with power brake booster and chassis control module from the CH-47830.




4. Install the brake master cylinder assembly.
