Subject
ANTI-NOISE LINER ADDED TO STABILIZER BAR BUSHING

To reduce noise and improve durability, a teflon, polyester liner has been added to the rubber bushings in the mounting brackets of the front stabilizer bar.

NOTE:
The liner in the stabilizer bar bushing is a knit combination of polyester and teflon. The polyester is on the outside of the sleeve and the teflon is on the inside. The polyester is on the outside because it is bondable to the rubber bushing. The teflon on the inside provides a lubricated surface that allows the stabilizer bar to rotate without causing suspension noise commonly known as "squawk".
