Brakes and Traction Control: Adjustments

The automatic self-adjusting mechanism operates whenever the parking brake lever and brake pedal are alternately applied. To adjust brakes, proceed as follows:
1. Pull up, then return parking brake lever to normal position.
2. Depress and release brake pedal.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 several times until shoe clearance is sufficient and no brake drag is evident.
