1.Removal

FIGURE 1:

A. Remove front wheels as shown in Figure 1.

FIGURE 2:

B. Remove the pad protector by prying up the clip as shown in Figure 2. Take care not to damage this part as it will be reused during reassembly.

Figure 3:

C. Remove both the M-clip and K-spring from the the caliper assembly. (See Figure 3). Discard these parts as new ones are supplied in the pad replacement kit.

FIGURE 4:

D. Remove the two brake pad retaining pins. Remove both the inner and outer brake pads and also the antisqueal shim which is located between the caliper and the outer pad. (See Figure 4). Discard pads and anti-squeal shim.
