Enlarging the Secondary Air Port
3. Disassemble the secondary air filter case from the air cleaner assembly and remove the filter from the case.
4. Enlarge the straight secondary air port in the filter case to 15mm with the step drill provided. If necessary, remove any burrs with a file after drilling.
5. Clean the filter case with compressed air, install the filter into the case and reassemble the case onto the air cleaner assembly.
CAUTION:
Always wear safety goggles when drilling and using compressed air to prevent any foreign matter from getting into your eyes.

6. Locate the secondary high altitude air bleed tube.
7. Using a clean shop rag, cover both bores of the carburetor.
