1. Remove intake and exhaust manifold attaching bolts and nuts, then the intake and exhaust manifold and gaskets.
2. Using cylinder head bolt wrench 09221-32000 or equivalent, loosen and remove cylinder head attaching bolts in sequence shown in Fig. 12.
3. Remove cylinder head from vehicle and gasket from cylinder block.
4. Reverse procedure to install. When installing cylinder head, tighten cylinder head attaching bolts to 1/2 of specified tighten in sequence shown in Fig. 13. Then retighten bolts in sequence to final specification: cold at 65-72 ft. lbs; hot at 72-80 ft. lbs.
