System Operation
Checking Automatic Speed Control Main Switch1. Turn ignition switch to ON position.
2. When turning on main switch, ensure indicator lamp on switch comes on.
3. Drive at speed approximately between 25-85 mph, then press on Set button.
4. Ensure alarm sounds when switch is pressed, and when released speed is a constant speed. If vehicle speed decreases to approximately 12 mph below set speed, the automatic control will be cancelled.
Checking Speed Increase Setting
1. Set desired speed, then press Resume button.
2. Ensure alarm sounds and acceleration continues while switch is pressed, and when released constant speed becomes driving speed.
Checking Speed Reduction Setting
1. Set to desired speed, then press Coast button.
2. Ensure alarm sounds when switch is pressed, then deceleration continues while switch is pressed and when release constant speed at time becomes driving speed.
Checking Automatic Speed Control Cancellation
1. Set automatic speed control.
2. Ensure speed control system is disengage.
3. Ensure brake and clutch pedal is depressed.
4. Move shift lever to ``N'' range.
5. Ensure automatic speed control main switch is Off.
Checking Return To The Set Speed Before Cancellation
1. Set automatic speed control.
2. Ensure automatic speed control is cancelled.
3. Ensure brake and clutch pedal is depressed.
4. Move shift lever to ``N'' range.
5. Drive vehicle at a speed of 25 mph or higher, then press Resume button.
6. Ensure alarm sounds when switch is pressed, then system will return to automatic speed control speed.
