1. Refer to TIMING BELT and remove timing belt as outlined.
2. Refer to CAMSHAFT & ROCKER ARM SERVICE and remove camshaft and rocker arms as outlined.
3. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD & EXHAUST MANIFOLD procedures and remove intake and exhaust manifolds as outlined.
4. Remove distributor.
5. Using cylinder head bolt wrench tool No. MD99805-01 or equivalent, remove cylinder head attaching bolts in sequence shown in Fig. 13, then the cylinder head.
6. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Using cylinder head bolt wrench tool No. MD99805-01 or equivalent, tighten cylinder head bolts to specifications, in sequence shown in Fig. 14.
b. When installing rocker covers, apply suitable sealant as shown, Fig. 15.
