Parking Brake System: Adjustments

Service brakes must be properly adjusted before attempting to adjust parking brake lever.
1. Pull parking brake lever upward with a force of approximately 44 lbs., noting the following:
a. A stroke of 5-7 notches on lever is acceptable.
2. If lever stroke is not as specified, turn cable adjusting nut as required.
