Disassembly
Rear Suspension Assembly:
DISASSEMBLY
Fixtures And Bushings:
1. As a reference for reassembly, make alignment marks on the fixtures and suspension arms prior to removal.
2. Loosen the nuts located at both ends of the suspension arms to remove the fixtures and rubber bushings.
Sway Bar Alignment Marks:
3. Using a punch and hammer, place alignment markings at each end of the stabilizer bar in alignment with the stabilizer bracket. The stabilizer bar can be removed during suspension arm separation.
4. Remove the center dust cover clamp.
Separating The Suspension Arm:
5. Separate the suspension arm into right and left units. Unless it is to be replaced, do not remove the dust cover from the right arm, it will protect the lip from damage.
Rubber Stopper:
6. Remove the rubber stopper from the right arm.
Bushing "A" Removal:
7. Using a hammer and flat blade drift, remove bushing "A".
Bushing "B" Removal:
8. Using a hammer and flat blade drift, remove bushing "B" from left suspension arm.
