Dashboard / Instrument Panel: Service and Repair

1. Remove steering wheel.

2. Remove rear of center console mounting screws, then the rear console, Fig. 11.
3. Remove transaxle control lever and front console assembly, disconnect electrical connectors.

4. Remove four steering column lower and upper shroud retaining screws, then the steering column lower and upper shrouds, Fig. 12.
5. Remove hood release handle mounting screws, then the left side lower dash panel.
6. Remove glove compartment, main lower dash panel and center fascia panel.
7. Remove cluster fascia panel and cluster assembly.
8. Disconnect all electrical connectors from back of cluster assembly.
9. Remove radio assembly retaining screws, then disconnect all electrical connectors.
10. Remove heater control assembly and disconnect all connectors.
11. Remove front speaker grilles, then the front speakers.

12. Remove main dash panel, Fig. 13.
13. Reverse procedure to install.
