1. Remove steering wheel, then the steering column lower and upper shrouds, Fig. 14.
2. Remove hood release handle mounting screws, then the side lower crash pad.
3. Remove glove compartment, then the lower crash pad center fascia panel.
4. Remove radio, then the main lower crash pad.
5. Remove steering column retaining bolts, then lower the steering column.
6. Disconnect blank cover from cluster fascia panel, then remove cluster fascia panel and coin box.
7. Remove cluster assembly, then the heater-A/C control assembly.
8. Disconnect defroster nozzle upper center cover from main crash pad, then remove main crash pad.
9. Remove the electrical connectors from the air conditioner control assembly, then the ventilators from the main crash pad.
10. Remove mounting brackets, then the instrument panel.
11. Reverse procedure to install.
