SUNROOF SUNSHADE SLIDES OPEN WHILE DRIVING
CONDITION:
The sunroof sunshade slides open during acceleration or while driving.
CAUSE:
Insufficient friction in the sunshade guide rails.
CORRECTION:
Note the location of the sunshade guides in the sunroof guide rail when the sunshade is closed. With the sunshade open, use needle nose pliers, with the jaws taped to prevent marring and lightly pinch the sunroof guide rails in the locations noted previously. Pinch the right and left sides evenly, and test the opening effort of the sunshade after each adjustment.
