Wiper Motor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove wiper arm and blade assemblies and cowl top cover.

3. Disconnect wiper motor electrical connector, remove wiper motor mounting bolts, Fig. 3 and 4.
4. Disconnect wiper motor linkage, then remove wiper motor.
5. Remove wiper linkage mounting bolts and wiper linkage.
6. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Install passenger side wiper arm and blade assembly, ensuring outer tip of wiper blade is 1.2 inches above bottom of windshield, with wiper motor in Park position. Install driver side wiper arm and blade assembly, ensuring outer tip of wiper blade is 1.9 inches above bottom of windshield, with wiper motor in Park position.
