Dashboard / Instrument Panel: Service and Repair
1. Remove steering wheel.Fig. 6 Exploded View Of Dash Panel:
2. Remove three steering column lower and upper shroud retaining screws, then the upper and lower shrouds, Fig. 6.
3. Remove hood release handle mounting screws, then the left side lower dash panel.

4. Remove fuse box cover, then the fuse box mounting screws, Fig. 7.
5. Remove glove compartment, then the lower dash pad center fascia panel.
6. Remove radio and disconnect electrical connectors.
7. Remove lower dash center skin, then the main lower dash pad.

8. Remove four steering column retaining bolts, then lower steering column, Fig. 8.
9. Remove three cluster fascia hole covers from cluster fascia panel, then the three screws.
10. Remove cluster assembly retaining screws, then disconnect speedometer cable and cluster assembly electrical connectors.
11. Remove air conditioner control assembly, two front speaker grilles and two front speakers.
12. Disconnect defroster nozzle upper center cover from main dash panel, then remove the main dash panel.
13. Disconnect electrical connectors from the air conditioner control assembly, then remove ventilators from main dash panel.
14. Remove dash panel side plate and main grille, then the mounting brackets.
15. Reverse procedure to install.
