ERASING CODES USING SCAN TOOL
1. Turn OFF the ignition switch.





2. Connect the scan tool to the diagnosis connector in the fuse box.
3. Connect the power source terminal of the scan tool to the cigarette lighter socket.
4. Turn ON the ignition switch.
5. Select 4. "SPECIAL TEST" from the function selection menu of the scan tool. then select item 5. "ERASE DIAG".
6. Press the YES key when "ERASE DIAG. CODE?" is displayed.
7. Enter ID code "19".
8. Press the CLEAR key when "FINISHED ERASING DIAG CODE" is displayed.
9. Read the self diagnosis output and check output of correct code.
