Front Speaker Replacement

Remove the front door trim panel.

Trim Tool:

1. Using an appropriate trim tool, remove the clip securing the window regulator handle to the regulator mechanism.

Mirror Mounting:

2. Remove the rear view mirror inner quadrant cover.

Door Panel:

3. Remove the door lock knob.

Door Panel:

4. Remove the 5 screws securing the door panel (2), inside handle (I) and arm rest (2).

Door Handle:

5. Separate the inside handle assembly from the door latch mechanism by removing the handle's plastic hook from the inside handle linkage rod.
6. Insert a large screwdriver or trim panel tool between the trim fasteners and door panel. Pry the door panel loose from the door frame.
7. Remove the door trim panel.
8. Remove the three speaker mounting screws.
9. Disconnect the 2 pin connector and remove the existing speaker.
10. Installation of the replacement speaker is the reverse of the above steps.
11. Verify front speaker operation prior to installing door panel.
