Rear Speaker Replacement ( 4 Door)

Rear Seat:

1. Recline the two portions of the rear seat back (fold down type).
1a. For vehicles equipped with a fixed rear seat back:

Rear Seat Mounting Bolts:

- Loosen the rear seat cushion mounting bolts and remove the rear seat cushion

Rear Seat:

- Loosen the rear seat back mounting bolts and remove the rear seatback.

2. Remove the center high mounted stop lamp (CHMSL) and bracket.

Blanking Covers:

- Remove the two blanking covers on both sides of the lamp. Remove the two screws securing the lamp assembly to its mounting bracket.

- Disconnect the connector and remove the lamp assembly.

- Remove the two screws securing the CHMSL mounting bracket to the package tray and remove the bracket.





3. Remove the five mounting plugs securing the rear package tray trim (three plugs on the front of the trim; two underneath the package tray).

Trim Panels:

4. Remove the two phillips screws securing the end trim panels.
5. Remove the rear package tray trim.
6. Disconnect the speaker connector.
7. Remove the four screws securing the rear speaker to the package tray.
8. Installation of the replacement speaker is the reverse of the above steps.
9. Verify rear speaker operation.
