DESCRIPTION:

The CV Joint Removal Tool; P/N 09495-22000,15 designed to unseat CV Joints where the CV Joint housing is recessed into the transaxle case.

INSTRUCTIONS:




1. Separate the U-bolt from the T-handle/block and place the U-bolt over the CV joint housing with the threads pointing downward.

2. Attach the T-handle/block to the U-bolt using flat washers and hex nuts. Ensure that both the T-handle/block and the U-bolt clamp around the CV joint housing and DO NOT contact the CV boot. Tighten nuts securely.

3. Using a "dead blow hammer", firmly strike the T-handle/block (as close to joint as possible). Repeat this step until the CV joint unseats from the transaxle.
