Using the Check Engine/Malfunction Indicator Light
1. Ignition switch ON (Do not start)2. Ground the L-wire (No. 10 pin) in the data link connector for 2.5 second.
3. The first output is the fault stored or the code "no fault detected" (4444).
4. Each blink code in repeated infinitely till the next step is ordered.
5. Repeated until the next step is entered by grounding the L-wire for 2.5 second. After that, the next code follows.
6. The last output consists out of the code for "end of output" (3333). After stepping further as described above, the diagnostic test mode is left.

Actuator Control Sequence Procedure (Using MIL)
1. The L-wire (No. 10 pin) in the data link connector has to be grounded before turning the ignition key ON (Do not start).
2. Turn the ignition key ON (Do not start) and disconnect the grounded wire from No. 10 pin, then the activation mode will be started from the No. 1 injector.
NOTE:
Each actuator will be stopped after activating 6 times.
3. Whenever disconnecting the L-wire after grounding 2.5 seconds or more, next actuator will be activated by turns as shown in the "Actuator Test" table.
4. If the actuator responds normally, code "4444" (No fault code) will be indicated by MIL or if there is any faults, relevant trouble code will be shown.
