Auto Lash Adjuster Leak Down Test

1. Place auto lash adjuster in special service tool 09246-32300 as shown illlustrated.

2. After the plunger has fallen 0.2. 0.5 mm (0.008 - 0.02 in), measure the subsequent falldown rate.

3. The standard fall-down rate is 2.5 mm in 20 - 50 seconds. If the fall-down rate is out of specification, replace the auto lash adjuster.
