Inspection Procedure (Using Voltmeter)




1. Connect the voltmeter to the data link connector.
2. Turn the ignition switch, and the engine control module memory contents will immediately start.

Note: If multiple items are activated, they are all indicated sequentially from the smallest code number.

After recording the abnormal item, check and repair each part according to the check items in Diagnosis Chart".

3. When the defective parts have been repaired, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery cable for 15 seconds or more and connect it again to make sure that the diagnostic trouble code has been erased.
