Evaporative Emissions System: Testing and Inspection

1. Disconnect the vacuum hose (red stripe) from the throttle body and connect a manual vacuum pump to the hose.
2. Plug the nipple connected to the vacuum hose.
3. Check the following points when the engine is cold [engine coolant temperature 40°C (104°F)], or below and when it is warm [engine coolant temperature greater than 80°C (176°F)].
