DESCRIPTION:

The line pressure and reducing pressure adjustment procedures in the 1996 Accent & Elantra and the 1997 Tiburon Shop Manuals are incorrect. The correct procedures are shown below.

Correction:

When the adjustment screw is turned clockwise, the line pressure becomes lower; when it is turned counter-clockwise, it becomes higher.

Reducing Pressure Adjustment

Correction:

When the adjustment screw is turned clockwise, the reducing pressure becomes lower; when it is turned counter-clockwise, it becomes higher.
