Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Description and Operation

PURPOSE/OPERATION
The intake air temperature sensor, built into the volume air flow sensor is a resistor-based sensor for detecting the temperature of the air entering the induction system. The engine control module provides the necessary fuel injection amount control based on this signal.
