Downshift Switch: Adjustments

Accelerator Switch Layout:

Check for continuity between terminals of the accelerator switch when the accelerator pedal is in the fully released position, and for no continuity when the pedal is depressed between 0.16 - 0.31 in (4 - 8 mm). If the switch operates improperly, loosen the lock nut and adjust using the adjusting bolt. Tighten the lock nut when adjustments are completed (switch works as described).
