Condenser Fan Motor Relay: Testing and Inspection

1. Remove the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the cover of relay box located in engine compartment.
3. Remove the relays from relay box.
4. Check for continuity between the terminals.

LOW SPEED








If continuity is not as specified, replace the relay

HIGH SPEED








If continuity is not as specified, replace the relay

1. Using an electric tester, check to be sure that there is no continuity between terminals 2 and 4








2. Apply 12 Volts across terminals 1 and 3, then check continuity between the terminals. Replace if necessary
