CRANKSHAFT AND CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR LOCATION
DESCRIPTION:
The location of the Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP) and the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP) on the 1996-97 3.0L V6 engine is not clearly shown in the 1996-97 Sonata Shop Manuals.
The CMP is located under the timing belt cover on the lower side of the cylinder head.
The CKP sensor is located near the crankshaft timing sprocket behind the damper pulley.
