PROCEDURE:
1. Remove the old Drip Rail Weatherstripping from the affected door. Clean the metal flange and facing which runs along the door with "Prepsol" or equivalent cleaner. On Sedans, note the two roof rack mounting screws over each door.
2. Run a small bead of silicon adhessive "Permatex / Loctite Black Silicone Adhesive (# 81158) or equivalent" inside the groove on the backside of the drip rail weatherstrip.
NOTE:
On sedans, leave gaps in the adhesive next to the roof rack mounting screws.
3. Starting from the rear door, hook the end of the drip rail weatherstrip over the end of the metal flange. Work towards the front, pushing the weatherstrip onto the flange. Be careful not to stretch the weatherstrip. Make sure it is fully seated on the flange and that the front of the weatherstrip aligns with the body fastener holes. If not slide the weatherstrip until the holes align and screw in the two body fasteners to hold the front end of the drip rail weatherstrip in place.
