2000 ACCENT DIAGNOSING TPS RELATED CODES (SHOP MANUAL CORRECTION)

DESCRIPTION:

The 2000 Accent Shop Manual has a Test Procedure on page FL-81 describing how to diagnose TPS related DTC codes (P0121, P0122 & P0123). On this page, a table lists reference values for the TPS, MAF & RPM. This table is incorrect.

When using this Test Procedure, use the charts below:

Before reading the values, make sure that:

1. The engine is fully warmed up.

2. The transmission is in Neutral (manual or automatic).

3. All accessories are turned off (radio, HVAC fan, lights, etc.).
