Blower Motor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery.
2. Disconnect the engine coolant inlet and the outlet hoses from the heater unit. Plug the ends of inlet and outlet hoses immediately after disconnection.





3. Disconnect vacuum source hose from the vacuum nipple of the heater unit.
4. Remove the main crash pad assembly.




5. Remove the rear heating joint duct (RH/LH) from the heater unit.




6. Disconnect connectors from the control module mounted on the center facia panel support bracket and other interruptive connectors.
7. Remove screws, bolts or nuts from the center facia panel support bracket.




8. Remove the bolt of the steering column shroud under cover support bracket.




9. Slightly pulling forward the steering column shroud under cover support bracket, disconnect the stud bolt of the center facia support bracket.




10. Remove the center facia penal support bracket.




11. Remove center support bars.




12. Remove the glove box support bracket.




13. Remove the evarporator unit.




14. Remove the mounting bolts of the heater unit.




15. Remove the blower unit.
