Sunroof / Moonroof: Description and Operation

Battery voltage is supplied at all times to the sunroof relay 1 contacts. Sunroof relay 1 coils also supplied battery voltage, when the ignition switch is in ON and any of the sunroof switches are closed. When the ignition key is.turned ON and the open & tile up switch is depressed, the sunroof relay 1 is energized. Battery voltage is then supplied to the sunroof motor through the sunroof relay 1. The close & tilt down switch work similarly to the open switch. The polarity of the voltage applied to the sunroof motor through sunroof relay contacts is changed according the switch positions.
