Checking Steering Characteristics

CHECKING STEERING CHARACTERISTICS
Drive the vehicle at 0 - 80 km/h and check the following items.
1. Turn the steering wheel at 0 - 80 km/h and hold for 1 - 2 seconds then release it.
2. Steering wheel should be free from abnormal vibration.
3. Steering system should be free from squealing or hissing noise from gear box, pump or drive belt.
4. Steering operation should be smooth and free from catch.
