Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Use the Gereric Scan Tool (GST) to erase diagnostic trouble codes. HYUNDAI does not supply a procedure for clearing diagnostic trouble codes without a scan tool. The diagnostic trouble codes will, however, be erased when the battery terminal or the engine control module (ECM) connector is disconnected.
