Monitor Scantool Data

1. Connect scantool to Data Link Connector(DLC)
2. Engine "ON".
3. Start and drive vehicle in gear and maintain vehicle speed is approx. 40km/h or more(24mph or more)
4. Monitor the "Wheel speed sensor(RR)" parameter on the Scantool.
A. Specification : Approx. 40km/h or more(24mph or more)








5. Is parameter displayed within specifications?
YES
1) Fault is intermittent caused by faulty Wheel speed sensor(RR) and/or faulty HECU or was repaired and HECU memory was not cleared. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Component Inspection" procedure.
NO
1) Check for improper installation of wheel speed sensor.(Misadjustment air gap) If NG, repair as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
2) Check for damage of rotor teeth or wheel bearing. If NG, repair as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
3) Measure a resistance of wheel speed sensor. If NG, replace the wheel speed sensor and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
Specification : Approx. 1.385±0.11kOhms
