C1503 TCS Switch Failure - Component Inspection

Component Inspection

1. Ignition "OFF".
2. Disconnect TCS switch connector.
3. Press the TCS switch.
4. Measure resistance between terminal "5" of the TCS switch harness connecotr and terminal "6" of the TCS switch harness connector.
A. Specification : Approx. below 1Ohms




5. Is the measured resistance within specifications?
YES
1) Fault is intermittent caused by faulty TCS switch or was repaired and HECU memory was not cleared. Go th the applicable troubleshooting procedure.
NO
1) Substitute with a known-good TCS switch and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace TCS switch and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
