CONTROL TEMPERATURE DISPLAY
BETWEEN °C AND °F
After the "Short Connector" has been fully seated, during PDI to supply power to the vehicle's passenger compartment, the digital display on the Automatic Temperature Control automatically defaults to degrees Celsius (°C). In some instances, a customer may request (or inquire) that the display be changed to suit their preference. This can be done by following the simple procedure below.
Note:
This procedure only applies to the 2002 Sonata EF Facelift and will not work in the 2001 MY XG300 or the 2002 MY XG350 with Automatic Climate Control.
1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (to display the Automatic Climate Control display).
2. Simultaneously, press and hold the AMB button and the blue down arrow for approximately three seconds.
^ The temperature display will change to °F (ie. 20.0°C will change to 68°F).
3. Repeat these steps to change the display back to Celsius.
Please Note:
Any time that the 12 volt power supply is interrupted or disconnected and reconnected, the temperature display will default back to Celsius (°C).
