Seats: Description and Operation

Without IMS
There are tour reversible motors that operate the power seat and it is controlled by power seat adjuster switch. The front and back height of the seat are operated by different motors in height adjuster. It can be raised or lowered independently. The slide adjuster motor moves the seat forward or backward. The reclining adjuster motor moves the seatback forward or backward.

With IMS
The power seat can be controlled manually by power seat adjuster switch. In this case, the operations of the power seat are same as that of the normal(without IMS) power seat.

If the positions of the driver seat are adjusted and memorized in the IMS control module, driver seat can be operated automatically. When the ignition switch in ON and "1" or "2" button pushed, the driver seat is adjusted automatically to the memorized position
