Service Procedure

SERVICE PROCEDURE:

1. Open the trunk and disconnect the negative battery cable.





2. Separate the center fascia lower panel (A) from the crash pad.

CAUTION:
Use a trim piece removal tool. Be careful not to damage or scratch any components.





3. Disconnect the wiring connector (B) and remove the center fascia panel from the crash pad.





4. Remove the 4 screws and 2 nuts that hold the audio/navigation head unit.





5. Pull out the audio assembly (C) from the crash pad without disconnecting any wiring connectors.





6. Remove the glove box assembly (D) according to the procedures below.





6-1 Remove both right and left glove box guides (E).

6-2 Remove the glove box assembly mounting upper and lower screws and allow the glove box assembly to hang. Do not remove wiring connectors (F) and air damper (G).

7. Locate the AFLS ECU (H) behind the crash pad.





8. Disconnect the AFLS ECU wiring connector (I).

9. Remove the 2 AFLS ECU mounting nuts (J) behind the right top of the audio assembly and remove the AFLS ECU.

10. Install the new AFLS ECU. Re-install all removed components in reverse order of removal.

11. Using GDS, download the parameter into the new AFLS ECU according to the procedure below.


SERVICE PROCEDURE:

1. Open the trunk and disconnect the negative battery cable.





2. Separate the center fascia lower panel (A) from the crash pad.

CAUTION:
Use a trim piece removal tool. Be careful not to damage or scratch any components.





3. Disconnect the wiring connector (B) and remove the center fascia panel from the crash pad.





4. Remove the 4 screws and 2 nuts that hold the audio/navigation head unit.





5. Pull out the audio assembly (C) from the crash pad without disconnecting any wiring connectors.





6. Remove the glove box assembly (D) according to the procedures below.





6-1 Remove both right and left glove box guides (E).

6-2 Remove the glove box assembly mounting upper and lower screws and allow the glove box assembly to hang. Do not remove wiring connectors (F) and air damper (G).

7. Locate the AFLS ECU (H) behind the crash pad.





8. Disconnect the AFLS ECU wiring connector (I).

9. Remove the 2 AFLS ECU mounting nuts (J) behind the right top of the audio assembly and remove the AFLS ECU.

10. Install the new AFLS ECU. Re-install all removed components in reverse order of removal.

11. Using GDS, download the parameter into the new AFLS ECU according to the procedure below.





11-1. Select "AFLS" menu from the GDS system selection screen.





11-2. Select "Parameter Download".





11-3. Select "Non Air suspension" if the vehicle has a standard suspension.





11-4. "Parameter download" is complete.

12. Make sure to initialize "AFLS calibration" according to the procedure below.





12-1. Select "Calibration" menu.





12-2. "System calibration" is complete.
