Wiper Relay: Service and Repair

Inspection

1. Washer interlocking must conform to the mode shown in figure.
This function shall be operated preferentially if wiper is operating.

[Washer SW input more than 0.6 sec.]





[Washer SW input less than 0.6 sec.]




2. Wiper operation must conform to the mode shown in figure.

[INT Mode]






Removal

1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Remove the rear left pillar lower trim (A).




3. Remove the rear wiper relay (A) after loosening a bolt and disconnecting the rear wiper relay connector.






Installation

1. Install the rear wiper relay.
2. Install the rear left pillar lower trim.
