C1246 Height Sensor Supply Voltage Failure - LH - General Information
Component Location
General Description
The ECS is the acronym for "Electronic Control Suspension". This ECS system automatically controls the height of a vehicle level and the damping force of shock absorbers according to road condition. So it improves riding comfort and steering stability. Among components of the ECS system, a height sensor is set up between an axle and an chassis body. And this sensor measures the height of an vehicle and gives it to ECS ECU. This height sensor converts the movement of rod into pulses. And ECS ECU receives these pulses and becomes aware of a vehicle's height.
DTC Detecting Condition
The ECS ECU monitors the state of power supply to left height sensor and if it is out of normal range, this DTC is set.
