Service Procedure
1. (Ultimate Package/Signature Package) Remove the rear seat cushion (A) from the seat frame bottom by lifting the cushion. Repeat on the opposite rear seat cushion.
CAUTION:
(Ultimate Package) The leg support (B) of the rear right passenger's seat should be raised by pressing the adjustment switch before removing the seat cushion.
CAUTION:
After removing the seat cushion, be careful not to step on the seat frame, air duct or seat harnesses.
2. (Ultimate Package) Disconnect the massage pump hose connector (C).
CAUTION:
When reinstalling the seat cushion or seatback, be sure to check that the massage pump hose is positioned in place as shown in the photo above (C) to prevent interference with the adjacent components.
CAUTION:
After reinstalling the seat cushion and seatback, check for proper operation of the seat massage system.
3. Remove the bolts (D), then remove the rear seatback by lifting it up. Disconnect all connectors and repeat on the opposite rear seatback.
NOTE:
Tightening Torque: 3.5-5.5 kgf.m (34.3-53.9 N-m, 25.3-39.8 Ibf-ft)
4. Remove the bolts (E), disconnect the side airbag connector, then remove the rear seat side back (F) by lifting it up. Repeat on the opposite rear seat side back.
NOTE:
Tightening Torque: 3.5-5.5 kgf.m (34.3-53.9 N-m, 25.3-39.8 Ibf-ft)
5. (ULTIMATE PACKAGE ONLY) Unfasten the bolts (G), then remove the rear tower console assembly (H). Disconnect the connectors.
NOTE:
Tightening Torque: 0.5-0.6 kgf.m (4.9-5.89 N-m, 3.62-4.34 Ibf-ft)
6. (ULTIMATE PACKAGE ONLY) Unfasten the bolts, then remove the rear tower console bracket (I).
NOTE:
Tightening torque: 0.5-0.6 kgf.m (4.9-5.89 N-m, 3.62-4.34 lbf-ft)
7. Remove the lower sill covers (both sides) (J).
CAUTION:
Be sure to disconnect the connector before completely removing the sill covers.
8. Remove the side seat trim (both sides) (K).
9. Unfasten the bolt (L), then remove the rear pillar upper and lower trim (M). Repeat on the opposite side.
NOTE:
Tightening torque: 0.5-0.6 kgf.m (4.9-5.89 N-m, 3.62-4.34 Ibf-ft)
NOTE:
If some clips are damaged when removing the trim, replace those with new ones (Replacement P/N: 82315-33020)
10. Remove the bolts and fasteners, then remove the package trim assembly (N).
NOTE:
3 bolts / 2 fasteners / 2 hooks Tightening Torque: 0.5-0.6 kgf.m (4.9-5.89 N-m, 3.62-4.34 lbf-ft)
NOTE:
If some clips are damaged when removing the package trim, replace those with new ones (Replacement P/N: 85849-2E000)
11. Remove the left and right rear seat belt lower anchor bolt (0).
NOTE:
Tightening torque: 4.0-5.5 kgf.m (39.2-53.9 N-m, 25.3-39.8 lbf-ft)
12. Remove the rear seat belt cover (P), then pull out the seat belt and cover through the seat belt cover mounting hole.
13. Remove the package trim (Q).
NOTE:
- 3 fasteners / 4 hooks
NOTE:
- 1 service lamp connector
14. Remove the rear sunshade assembly (R).
NOTE:
4 bolts / 2 nuts / 1 connector
NOTE:
Tightening torque: 0.5-0.6 kgf.m (4.9-5.9 N-m, 3.6-4.3 lbf-ft)
CAUTION:
Be careful not to damage the rear glass while removing the sunshade assembly.
15. Install foam tape (76884-71L01 - after cutting them into 0.5"WX 1.25"L strips) to locations shown in photo (Q1) - total 4 locations.
16. Foam tape (76884-71L01) cut into strips and installed to Q1 (Rear package tray anchor mounting locations).
17. Cut felt tape (68370-4B000) into 0.5WX 1.0L in. strips and install over the foam tape installed in step (Q2).
18. Remove the sub-woofer and install foam pad on top of inner trunk liner just below the speaker (73982-4L700) see photo.
19. Re-install the sub-woofer and tighten the 4 bolts.
20. Attach the anti-noise pads (73982-9E000) (U) onto the motor (S) and bracket (I) as shown in the photo.
NOTE:
The distance between the adjacent pads should be about 10 mm (0.4 in.).
21. Install all removed components in reverse order.
22. Perform function tests on all seat adjustments, rear entertainment system, Ice Box, and sunshade for proper operation.
