SUBJECT: EQUUS (VI) VEHICLE TRACKING DIAGNOSIS AND REPAIR AND EHPS UPDATE

THIS BULLETIN SUPERSEDES 11-SS-004 TO UPDATE THE SERVICE PROCEDURE, EXPAND THE APPLICABLE PRODUCTION RANGE, AND PROVIDE CORRESPONDING OP CODES.

Description:
The following procedure describes how to diagnose and repair an Equus (VI) vehicle tracking condition.





*NOTE
^ The Vehicle Tracking Data Sheet below is REQUIRED to be stored with the Repair Order (RO).

^ Vehicles produced April 13, 2011 and later do not require the EHPS update procedure.

^ Dealers and Sublet Vendors must adhere to the vehicle tracking diagnosis and repair flowchart described on the Vehicle Tracking Data Sheet below.

^ Test drives should be completed with no passengers or excessive cargo in the vehicle.
