WIPER BLADE ACCESS FOR REPLACEMENT
DESCRIPTION:
This bulletin provides instructions on how to gain access to service the wiper blades on the Equus (VI)
VEHICLES AFFECTED:
Model: Equus (VI)
SERVICE PROCEDURE:
1. Without pressing the brake, push the Engine Start/Stop button two (2) times to the ignition (IGN) "ON" position. Do not start the engine.
2. Press the Engine Start/Stop button once to turn the vehicle off. Within 2-5 seconds - push up and HOLD the wiper stalk in the "MIST" position. Release wiper stalk after wiper arms move to the up position.
3. The wiper arms will move and hold in the up position. At this time the wiper blades can be replaced.
4. After servicing the wiper blades. Turn the vehicle "ON" by pressing the Engine Start/Stop button two (2) times (do not start the engine) and push up on the wiper stalk "MIST" button once and release. The wiper arms will move back to the lower position.
